Hi Ashok,


How do I deploy a war file in solaris running apache?


You have to deploy the application into Apache Tomcat.

You typically drop the .war file into tomcat's apps directory and restart
tomcat.

The application .war file should have come with instructions (README etc)
which will tell you about any extra steps that are required.
You typically need to point to the database and/or edit a few conf files.

Detailed questions about tomcat should be posted to the tomcat-users mailing
list.
