Responsibilities

:  
Provides necessary leadership, analysis and design considerations related to the development, implementation and planning of infrastructure level technology architecture across the TIMS portfolio.  
Must be able to influences the decision-making processes by helping to determine, develop and own components of the overall infrastructure architecture strategy.  
Will need to effectively partner with Project Architects, Development Leads, Operations and Enterprise Architects to help drive solutions.  
Will consult to assists development team in decision design, direction, technology development, making trade-offs in integrating, consolidating and eliminating infrastructure technologies.  
Provides consulting expertise to support overall business strategies and deliver business value.




 




Requirements


:  
Required strong ability to lead and influence in a technical lead role with three to five years experience designing, developing and deploying architecture within UNIX environments (Windows optional). Ideal candidates will posses expert practical knowledge in the following areas:

Server operating systems, including Solaris, and Linux (Windows a plus)




·         


SAN




·         


Veritas Clustering (Microsoft Clustering a plus)




·         


Oracle Data Base




·         


Oracle Financials




·         


Websphere




·         


Vmware Virtual Infrastructure




·         


Active Directory (Optional)




·         


MS SQL Server (Optional)




·         


Citrix (Optional)




 




Successful candidate will possess proven problem solving, organizational and communication skills.  
The applicant must be able to work effectively with internal, external vendors, and cross-organizational teams.  
Must have proven ability to maintain focus on tasks and deliver within schedule.  
This position requires demonstrable analytic and problem solving skills.




 




Professional certifications such as SUN Certified Systems Administrator, etc are a plus.
