I was wondering what might make the London OpenSolaris user group
meetings *more* interesting.
One idea is to have a "work in progress" session, where anyone who
cares can stand up for 5-10 minutes and present between two and four
slides about something that they're working on and take questions.
Anyone either working on some part of Solaris or doing something
interesting with Solaris would be welcome. If a particular WIP
presentation generates a lot of interest, we might try to get that
person to speak for longer at a subsequent event.
Similarly, how about allowing someone to bring a poster describing
something that they are doing, to prompt feedback and conversation.
We could stick the posters around the meeting room.
Thoughts?
