Probably the dhcp client start up script will be in /etc/rc3.d/ directory.
Find out yr dhcp client daemon in /etc/rc3.d/ directory & just make the no:
begining with to a higher.
in my system it's "S34dhcp" .The 'S' (capital S) indicates the daemon has to
start. the '34' is the priority. change it to 99 or some thing like that &
restart the system. I think it will be alright if the pblm is because of
some dipendency failure. Just Give a try ... don't know much the result is.
Never had come across such a situation. :-)

Occasionally, when I start the laptop, it fails to establish connectivity
because dhcpagent fails to start. I have tried starting dhcpagent with the
'-v' option but it returns to the prompt with no messages/log.
>>This, like any tough issue, is a sporadic problem I am facing. If I
restart the laptop, it usually succeeds. But, when it happens it is
annoying. Also, if I start the network and DHCP client through inetmenu, it
usually succeeds. It is when it tries to connect during boot, that it
fails, usually.
>>Not sure if I should worry about this, but was wondering if any one else
has faced these issues.
