Hi Folks,

   As promised here is a detailed breakdown of what we are planning
to discuss. A lot of it is good for people new to OpenSolaris, so get
your doubts clarified:

Getting Started with OpenSolaris Part 1
--------------------------------------------------

* Identify the features of the Solaris operating environment.
* Device and disk naming, partitioning, slices, filesystems, vfstab etc.
  in OpenSolaris.
* Accessing removable media - CDROM, Pen Drive
* Installing Solaris Express - Video demo.
* Post Install configuration tips:
  - PATH Settings
  - Default Shell
  - Xorg Configuration - ouch! And support for Nvidia, Intel i815,i915

* Basic commands: ps, ptools, prstat, df, share, zip, tar, gzip, man and 
friends.
* Services
* Adding/Removing new Users
* Bootup process and boot options (from GRUB), shutdown.
* Network Configuration - Manual process and using Inetmenu
* Installing Software - SVR4 Packaging
* Where do I get more software: Blastwave, Pkgsrc, Sunfreeware, Companion CD
* Where do I get drivers: tools.de, Masayuki Murayama's network drivers etc.

* Where do I get help: BigAdmin
