Sorry for not doing it earlier, but lots of work and 2 weeks of
vacations in California got in the middle :-)

We've been in contact with them for some already. They preferred the
formal association for easier legal communication and help with
resources, such as lending a room for meetings.
Also, yesterday, somebody from marketing (I think) called Bruno Bonfils
to get information for an official Sun France press release. It was
going to be distributed today, at a Linux Solutions event in Paris.
I don't know yet if that's been done, I sure hope so!

Now, we'll have to talk to them to prepare meetings, and maybe get
speakers, and swag. Obviously, French-speaking ones will be preferred,
but we thought that having a few English-speaking ones would be very
valuable. Personalities, such as yourself, can obviously be of great
interest!

Yes, I've been late on that side too. One of the reason is that there is
already the Sun-sponsored Solaris fr list, and we weren't sure about how
to move it to the OpenSolaris server.
But right now, I'd be very happy to have access to that page, and fill
it up, present the group and give more links. Is that possible? Whom to
contact?

Also, what is the possibility of a mailing list there?
I admit I'm unsure about what would be the best to migrate the existing
Solaris fr list (which is about all kinds of Solaris): part of the ug-*
list, like ug-guses at opensolaris, or something like the Romanian list,
which is ro-users-discuss, and not really part of the OpenSolaris site.
(and of course, ug-frosug has already been stealthily stolen ;-)
Basically, would all Solaris topics fit in an ug- list, including
technical and assistance questions for older versions?

Thanks for your help!

Laurent
