oh... ack :) Anyway, I can always rescue my box with any liveCD +
chroot  grub :)

Meanwhile, could you point me to come links that document information
that I should know before I get down to installing Belenix ? Perhaps
something like the gentoo installation handbook is not ready right now
(http://www.gentoo.org/doc/en/handbook/handbook-x86.xml), I'd like to
read up on stuff like slices, and what inputs tha installer expects
from the user , etc.
