Hi Hernán,

Great to hear! Your contribution will be more than welcomed. :-) There is g11n-es-discuss alias that you and the other Spanish speaking contributors can join and start writing in Spanish. Here's the mail archive:

http://www.opensolaris.org/jive/forum.jspa?forumID=43

Sun Globalization group that has been providing Solaris translations in the past (during the closed Solaris time) is close to open sourcing our codes as well as localized documentation that Docs community has open sourced. We have many docs that have previously been translated to Spanish.

For one, on-going updates to these docs is what the Spanish i18n/l10n community as well as user group may be interested in contributing.

I also proposed a glossary project in opensolaris-discuss which is being set up as I write:

I'm an advocate for the project because I proposed it. ;-D However, really, having a Spanish glossary (terms and definitions) for Solaris would be a great addition to help promote use of Solaris.

Last but not least, we have an on-going l10n and i18n testing on snv builds, and the outcome and test progress can all be viewed in our test repository tool called TCM (Test Case Management):
http://www.sunvirtuallab.com/opensource
(Click OpenSolaris)

You can develop/translate/add/refine test cases for Spanish locale, and join the testing effort by volunteering to test a certain test suite or platform.

Hope this helps,
Young
