[ug-discuss] Having trouble with ethernet card

Hi 
I am having trouble with my ethernet card and dhcp
When i run /usr/X11/bin/scanpci i get my card as VIA VT6102 [Rhine-II] device 0x3065 (so i am guessing that OpenSolaris recognizes the card)
I tried to do a grep 3065 /etc/driver_aliases it shows nothing.
When i do a dmesg | grep ether it too shows nothing.
Same with ps -eaf | grep dhcp
when i checked with the compatability tool it says that Opensolaris has driver  that is compatable.
When i run ifconfig -a I only get lo0: info 

I somehow need to get the card info or the card recognized by ifconfig inorder to get Eth0 or what ever it is called here working.

Can I get any advice????
