I think scanpci tells you what hardware is available, not
whether device drivers are available for it.

In this case, I think you need Masayuki Murayama's vfe driver from 
http://homepage2.nifty.com/mrym3/taiyodo/eng/

 - I haven't tried this myself, but I've every confidence it'll work fine..
