Hello all,

we had our first OpenSolaris User Group meeting here in San Diego CA
on May 2nd, Benoit Chaffanjon spoke about Benchmarking and DTrace,
fantastic, his talk went down a storm. We had a roundtable after the
presentation, there were two loud points. We have to get the word out
about OpenSolaris, esp. to the Linux folks who simply don't know
about this stuff (from a guy that runs exclusively Linux on his HPC
grid), and what exactly is OpenSolaris? A segue in to my request...

Is there anyone out there who could talk, who knows someone who could
talk, at the next San Diego OpenSolaris meeting, June 20th evening,
and explain the why, what, how, what exactly is OpenSolaris? The
OpenSolaris RFP, Bug process, the projects, development process, the
relationship between Solaris and OpenSolaris. Who is using
OpenSolaris and why, who has contributed and a whole bunch of other
stuff that you know and I can't think of as I write.

Let me know if you can help us. Thanks, Mark.
