I'm an IT architect at Sun and have joined the alias. I also recently joined the OpenSolaris Mentoring Project. 

My current interests related to OpenSolaris are in the area of practical development and deployment mechanisms for developers using Solaris; things like "What if I could do a ZFS snapshot to deploy the 
RoR applications running Nevada in Fusion on my Mac to a Joyent Accelerator? (I think there may be a practical idea in there somewhere.)

The highest hitting blog post I had recently was Glassfish + JRuby and connection pooling.
 
Anyway, glad to be here, and looking forward to the call on the 29th.
