Fair enough. I'll move the notice at the bottom of the page that says:

    "To receive notifications about future meetings, please subscribe
    to the mailing list."

To the top and put in bold letters and make it much more imperative
and ominous sounding.

(By the way, you're absolutely dead wrong (by FIVE days) with your
guess about when I posted the "date change" alert to that page. I
did it last Friday.)
