Some long time ago, I worked with Solaris 9, and as far as I remember, that
was around the time when also the Solaris 10 was about to be released, and
also having its x86 image available for public download just as a Linux
distro for the first time. What I still find rather unclear are the
licensing terms of utilizing Solaris 10, which right now I'm downloading
from Sun.com. Does Solaris 10 require that a license be purchased if the
system is to be utilized commercially? Or whichever is the deal. Thanks.

All,
To clarify, the meeting this month will be held at Laurus Technologies
in Itasca. We'll meet at the usual start time of 7 PM. The meeting
date is Wednesday, Feb 27. Here's the address:
1015 Hawthorn Drive
Itasca, IL 60143
The sign for Hawthorn Drive is microscopic, but if you're headed south
on 53, it's the first left turn after you pass Irving Park Rd.
Remember, this month's guest speaker will be Jim Mauro, co-author of
Solaris Internals, and engineer with Sun PAE (Performance Application
Engineering).
If you haven't already, please let us know if you'll be attending.
Thanks,
Chip Bennett
