Well,
first of all, you better have root access to try out zones. Moreover, if you are on a cluster, highly likely it is a production box and you may not want to test features like zone creation on that, especially when you are trying out for the first time.

I suggest rather trying out on a PC. It is okay even if you don't have a PC installed with Solaris. Try belenix live cd. Find it here:
