I'd figured that out, thanks. The alternative, plan B, which is what  
John was indicating and with which I was agreeing, is that the whole  
system needs a rethink so that, for example, people with CC grants (an  
indication that their role extends beyond any single activity) are  
automatically able to post to any list.

Or some other alternative, I'm not trying to design at this point. I  
just don't want to have to subscribe to/intervene on every list on  
OpenSolaris.org so that I can freely post to any list on the odd  
occasion it's necessary. John has done a great job of deriving a set  
of very valid requirements from the issues raised. How do we go about  
getting them addressed?
